I was in a really toxic relationship that did me a lot of damage. It's been 2 years since then and it's been 2 years of personal growth. I didn't date at all or have any interest in dating for like 1.5 years. It's only been recently that I've had the energy and self confidence and self-peace to try again. I met one person who was nice, but just not a perfect match for me. There's definitely some rude people on the apps or people who just want to hookup and have no respect. But it's hasn't been too bad. Just a neutral experience. I'm in a place where I'm actually happy and okay with being single and alone, but that id love to have someone.
