Forwarded A major scrapped feature from Niji, Establishing Pokemon Gyms This was a postgame story event intended for hardcore players. Occurs immediately after the player becomes the first Alola League Champion. Plot: To coincide with the introduction of the Pokemon League in Alola, 8 Pokemon Gyms will now be built in Alola. Tasked by a certain Professor client, as Champion you are asked to appoint characters to serve as your Gym Leaders. The way Alola appoints its Champion is unique. Forwarded In Niji's development stages, Z-Moves went through several name changes. One specific one was Aura Boost. With Aura Boost, the Pokemon would be enveloped in a special aura during battle until the effects wear off. The Z-Ring and Z-Crystals were known as the Aura Brace and Aura Prisms Instead of Z-Power, energy from the trainers themselves would be transferred over to the Pokemon.
