Funny how some media depict monsters as "misunderstood" or "morally gray" to send a message about how you should not judge others by how they look, but then proceeds to depict humans or angels (or whatever species that is generally seen as "good") as 100% evil without any redeeming qualities, throwing the message about "grayness" out of the window. It is is the same thing, you only swapped the names.

The Subversion Paradox: If everything is subversive, by definition it stops being subversive and become the new Status Quo instead.
