Why it matters: One of the buildings is the nerve center for generating national weather forecasts. . It was designed to integrate multiple forecasting centers in one building to improve operating efficiency. It houses telecommunications equipment to send weather data and forecasts across the U.S. and abroad. Driving the news: The NOAA Center for Weather and Climate Prediction is on the lease cancellation list, according to a NOAA employee who spoke on condition of anonymity for fear of retribution. • Two ex-National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration officials also confirmed the list. • The building houses the National Weather Service's National Centers for Environmental Prediction, or NCEP, which includes the Environmental Modeling Center. It opened in 2012 and has about 268,000 square feet of space. The modeling center runs the computer models used in day-to-day weather forecasting, and ensures that weather data correctly goes into these models and that they are operating correctly.

Harley Diamond 1d. My neighbor was complaining they were short on money. I went over there and found a TON of savings for them. First, I sold both of their cars for them, I fired the babysitter who watches their children after school, and I canceled the fire insurance on their home. I saved that family thousands of dollars! Despite all I've done for them, they're now complaining that they can't get to work and they need their babysitter or the kids will be left unsupervised. The solutions they need are so easy; I own a car service and they can pay me to drive them to work. I also own interest in a day care down the road. I just can't understand what they're so upset about.

Why. Literally why. Even from the most cynical, oligarchy perspective, what possible net positive could there be in diminishing citizens' ability to receive weather updates? How does this help anyone, make anyone money? Why.

I'm sure that's at least part of the intent, but they're gonna have a hard time charging a subscription when there are literally no weather reports being generated.
