It's great… but I'm afraid 'Meet the Pyro' has nothing to do with FIM.

I watched the meet the pyro video, and i did think for a second when i saw this scene "wow, i bet people are going to compare this to MLP now?" I immediatly face palmed when i saw the war in the comments to decide if the pyro was a brony or not…

Really now guys, just because it has rainbows, unicorns or some shit like that, DOES NOT make it a MLP reference, that stuff existed even before MLP was created. Unless it has some really intended refrences like Diablo's 3 unicorns names, then stop comparing.
