About
Fantastic Four Gang Sign, also known as Mr. Fantastic's 4 Fingers Up or Mr. Fantastic's "Ain't That Fantastic FN," refers to a series of exploitable panels from the Fantastic Four Marvel Comics series showing Mr. Fantastic (Reed Richards) holding four fingers in front of his body. Although several panels featuring the Fantastic Four heroes doing the sign have been drawn since the early 2010s, the "4's Up" gesture became known online as a gang sign in 2022, often used to tell someone you're in danger. In early 2025, the addition of the character in the hero shooter video game Marvel Rivals inspired players to post ironic gameplay videos adding Travis Scott's "90210" song and Mister Fantastic's photoshopped panel in which he is wearing a durag while doing the 4's Up gang sign. The Mister Fantastic four-finger gang sign meme also inspired the catchphrase "Ain't That Fantastic FN" to become popularized on TikTok in January 2025, which notably uses the Green FN internet slang.
