Based on a theory I've seen flying around after "Hollow Mind" aired
To be fair to Nagash though, magical nuclear bombs weren't invented when he originally built his flying death pyramid of doom. I know you guys are more familiar with WH40k, so to explain what Nagash's Black Pyramid was, picture a Necron Monolith powered by MAGIC!!! instead of SCIENCE!!! and the best weapon the enemy have to use against you is a medieval cannon. Yeah, it's no surprise this thing alone almost destroyed the Empire before Chaos even set foot in Nordland.
It occurred to me that everyone born during the First World War would have been in their 20's during the Second World War and would have had to do and suffer the exact same things that their parents did.
