Sappy and predictable, this game wants to teach you to look bevond outward appearances etc. vawn. Had this game come out as little as five years ago, it's highly unlikely it would have received the critical praise that it has now. The answer is complex, but can be reduced to one blunt statement: The liberal culture war, at least on the media front, is already won for the radical left: it's no longer just trendy or edgy to preach "Social Justice" and to adhere to leftist social mores, it has become mainstream in all forms of media, and, increasingly, in day-to-day American life. Undertale is the watershed new-wave feminist/liberal-friendly video game As a result: Masculine characteristics are increasingly considered obscene. Men (particularly straight white men) are despised and portrayed defacto as villains. Free speech is increasingly limited for fear of offending even obscure minority groups. It is acceptable (and increasingly mandated) that children should be raised as "gender-neutral." It is acceptable and even laudable in society now to fold in or out one's genitals and then declare oneself to be of the opposite gender (without a single mental health screening or psychiatric session beforehand). As the ideologies of the traditional left creep closer to center, the radicalization of each successive "edgy" liberal will only further exacerbate these and other societal changes Solution? Consider voting for Trump this election season, not because you agree with his politics (or even mental state), but because his idgaf attitude can help stem the tide of SJW cultural indoctrination tl;dr: Undertale is a meh game, but the rally-voting is a side-effect of post-Obama radical liberalism clashing with video game media. The rest is just a rant about the left-wing assault on American culture and social norms
