I have 2 accounts that I use on YouTube. Today I realized that my YouTube channel has to be connected to Google+ in order to comment. No big deal, right? Yeah, no. After going through the weird "change your name" bullshit, I picked the option to keep my YouTube username. Guess what? Google though that it'd be cool to take my channel, remove my avatar, and throw it to the bottom of an abyss. All while making my Google+ page seem like my main account (what with my avatar and all), but NONE of my videos were there. So I reverted back to a plain YouTube account. I went through this process about 5 times across my two channels, trying to find a compromise that I could live with, which I couldn't.
Oh, and did I mention that each time I did this that Google added an extra blank channel to my account?
