Futurama - Leela's life

Reason 8,971,324 that Futurama is superior to all shows: the dramatic aspects of the show never seemed sudden or forced. There was always a flow during the episode where the story would end up at the emotional scene naturally. Unlike a lot of sitcoms that seem to have a jerky "joke/drama/joke/drama" feel.

The shows creators even seemed to reference this in the episode "War is the H Word" with the Alan-Alda-Bot that kept flipping a switch for when he would make a joke or say something poignant.

This episode was on par with the dog episode when it came to feels in my opinion. Also, the song playing over this scene was amazing:
