“I’m so sick of all lesbians making generalizations about me”

As a trans person myself (male-to-female for anyone wondering, still transitioning at the time of making this comment), I really get annoyed by all this strange hate directed at people who are cisgendered. First off I really dislike this whole "fight hate with more hate" mentality. Second, my boyfriend is cisgendered, so are these people implying I'm supposed to dump him and date another trans person? That sounds like prejudice right there, that just because I'm trans I'm only allowed to be around or date other trans people.

It's really sad to see that the most vocal form of LGBT activism online nowadays comes from people who basically come off as bigots themselves…
