I agree that the parents had some part to play in this; they are the ones who sign the contracts that allow their children to be treated this way. Of course, this is assuming they had full knowledge prior to shooting that this was going to happen. But let's not forget that it was Adam Sandler's brilliant idea to film himself, a grown man, physically assaulting children and sell that as comedy.

(For the record, I have no objection to simulated violence; if you want hurt kids in your movie, go ahead, but go fuck yourself if you actually hurt real children for 'entertainment').
