Eyedrops are difficult, even in the Anime universe.

A little trick my mother taught me that's slightly less unpleasant: Close the eye you're putting the drops in, put the drops in your tear duct, and slowly open it so that the liquid slowly filters in. Still feels funny, but not nearly as bad as "staring into Chinese water torture."
