I still never get it why people say the show is for "little girls."

Sure, the previous generations of MLP could have said that, but FiM is really more of a little kids thing. Sure, it's colorful, and the show itself is meant to sell toys made specifically for girls, but there's really nothing in the show itself that specifies what gender would like it.

Maybe because the main characters are all female? Though that just sounds even more sexist.

This is like, old, but it's still awesome how she put that guy in his place.
