That's what's so great about it. It's the cheesiest, silliest, campiest, most ridiculous bull ever even for the game it's already in. It's not really trying to be super serious and philosophical. It indirectly is in a way, but that wasn't the point. As for the battle itself, it was pretty awesome and how a final boss should be in my opinion. As I've heard it described, this game as a whole, especially the final boss along with other Platinum games such as Bayonetta, are basically what most kids imagined doing with their toys in video game form. Tossing buildings, cyborg ninjas, steroid-fueled corrupt politicians, it's all so ridiculously awesome. If you don't think about it as an actual Metal Gear game, you'd learn to enjoy it a little more. It's almost self-aware in the way it tries to be over-the-top.
About the song, I can't get enough. It's fantastic!
