It's a parody of the "Tropes vs Women In Gaming" thing except with men instead of women. It's a joke and everyone who donated will get their money back if they don't reach the goal. Even though it's joke it still got a backlash of feminist hate because, you know jokes are evil patriarchal propaganda.
