There is probably homosexual ponies, but this world is unfortunately tied to the toy sales. Even if it was something small, such as one stallion giving another a quick peck on the cheek, the controversy would explode and sales might drop, sure it may be the best for the story and world, but Hasbro doesn't care as long as its making toys.

I say let the characters decide who they want do it with and stop guessing.
