Why do people consistently fail to realize that doubles is a very different metagame compared to singles? Is that really so difficult to understand?

The tier lists are about winrates and pokemon that are significantly better than others pokemon.
A magikarp can 6/0 an entire team if he gets lucky enough, just as a Kang could, however Kang will do it like, 20x better and 70% of the time.
Its just like tier lists in brawl, the higher the tier, the better they are, but it doesnt mean an A tier will always win vs a D tier.
