Basic summery, because of a lawsuit with him, more then a third of the Archie Sonic comic's cast were ripped out of the story and, as a result, it had to reboot the comic in the middle of one of the biggest arcs it ever had.

Also, Lara Sue chronicles. You just need to see a cover to know why on that one.

Though I can plainly see why it would piss off everyone who reads the comics. I'd be super mad too if I read the comics.

(To be clear, the thing that’s “not my fandom” is the Sonic comics. I love the games, but I really do not like the comics. Too many “Original the Character”s who steal spotlight from the “real” Sonic characters. And to think some people complain about the games having too many characters.)
