To also let various companies know of the bad press and harm that association with these sites will do to their image. To ultimately convince these companies to no longer advertise with these publications. Explain what GamerGate is to you and how you WON'T be visiting many gaming journal sites, such as Kotaku, Polygon, RockPaperShotgun, and Gamasutra, and will move to other gamingjournal sites, such as GatherYourParty, Niche Gamer, and TechRaptr. Your Role is Your Choice: The Boycott Goal of the Day is meant as a guide. Pick what you like about it or leave what you do not, we are all free to make these decisions for ourselves. We will never force or threaten your safety into making a decision for you. If you do not wish to join the boycott, please respect the decisions of others to join. We have few rights as consumers, and one of those few rights to advocate for a boycott and not spend our money as we see fit. Problems with Samsung customers sea.samsung.com Problems with Samsung customers Hello, I've been a strong supporter of Samsung televisions (great quality for a good price) for almost a decade now, I have used your televisions to enjoy my video games for a long time. Recently there has been an uproar in the gaming community, about the possible corruption and in-talking between gaming journalists and game developers. One of the websites for gaming journalism in the middle of this is Kotaku.com, which is funded in part by Samsung advertisements. I can not in good heart support either Samsung or Kotaku, due to the inflammatory articles, statements and deeds by their staff that decry gamers as bad people for questioning them about validity of criticism and news, as you can find in many articles on their site. I find it difficult to believe that gaming journalists would attack their own consumer base like this, but as it stands it is happening. I can't support them or the companies who advertise on Kotaku, like Samsung, if it is clear that their agenda is to attack their consumers. Thank you Send Saved
