Leave the man be. He doesn’t know the issues in depth, isn’t corrupt and wants no part in the shitstorm. Honestly, some GamerGaters have been acting like Jehovah’s Witnesses towards him and they’re shocked he isn’t a big fan of theirs?
What would having him speak out in favour of GamerGate even achieve? We have plenty of leaders. We don’t need him, and they’re driving him towards anti-GG with their pestering.
I'm going to agree with you there. Also people have a tendency to bring up Jewwario during these attempts at conversion and that turns Angry Joe into Really Angry Joe and then any chance of actual conversation is thrown out the window.
He's already stated he's ProGG as far as journalism ethics goes, he just doesn't want to be involved because of the harassment that factions on both our side and theirs is guilty of.
He'll just address it in his "Top 10 Gaming Controversies of 2014" anyway.
