Well he isn't threatening or doxxing him and if McIntosh is bothered enough or feels like he's being harassed he can block him. There is no point in getting butthurt on Jonathan's behalf and if anyone thinks that EmptyHero (or anyone for that matter) is representative of a leaderless consumer revolt they should probably get their head checked.
This is just a troll doing his thing and McIntosh taking his bait, it's separate from gamergate and there is no real harm done.
