I'm actually really glad that event matches are coming back, because they're really the closest Smash has really come to any sort of story mode aside from the Subspace emissary. Even if they were relatively minor in terms of what they did.

Also, just going to say that if there's at any point a match that references World's Collide (Archie's Sonic/Mega Man crossover) then Sakurai is clearly an amazing man who deserves my money in tenfold.
