But don't you think that equality by numbers isn't an equality in reality? These people try so hard to advocate for this 100% perfect equality b------- but the reality is you arentjudging people by their qualities if that is how you are placing them in these conditions. The requirements for admission should not be lowered to reach 50%, because if you do, you're judging that person on their gender. I worked hard to become who I am today and I worked hard to get the job that I have today, I'm not going to have that all erased because some talentless f--- decided that she wanted her game that could have easily been made by a 10 year old Neopets user in 2005 to become everyone's center of attention because she had a vagina. And the same thing really applies to enjoying video games too. So what? Girls like video games less than guys. Who gives a s---. Grown men outnumber the number of young girls who love My Little Pony, so I guess that means we should try to defend the little girls who are having their representation ruined by the fact that other people also enjoy their things that also do not have flaps between their legs? People are so apt to blame the companies involved, but, here's a f------ thought - maybe video games, by many families, are considered a "boy's toy" and people tend to buy their games for boys more often than girls! Maybe the fact that the games with girl's favourite licenses are such assparades that they lose their interest in gaming quickly! And maybe, just maybe, instead of blaming the company for making something that their consumer audience will buy, maybe you should change your own habits to encourage this. Somehow my family managed to realize that my gender has nothing to do with enjoying video games and somehow, I still like them! And somehow, I don't need to have my e-c--- stroked continually because I have a vagina while I do it! not like other girls, So why don't you embrace your differences and tell the people who are different to go suck on it? Don't you think that at that point you aren't trying to fight sexism but trying to fight people who disagree with your opinion? Don't you think that by claiming that it is about sexism while ignoring the criticisms of your argument from people who are women makes you the sexist? Don't you think that ignoring people's opinions because they are male is sexist? (of course not, they believe that men cannot face sexism ever). Don't you think that maybe, going around and claiming that women require some special treatment because they are women and they are "weak and "incapable of taking the heat and claiming that women are constantly victims and always put down? Don't you think that's creating victims? Don't you think that's putting people down? Don't you think that's f------ sexist? It's like these people don't f------ get it. X Journalists would make claims of people like Anita Sarkeesian "playing video games all her life" when she openly admitted many times she is not a gamer and only starter recently (when it wasn't for an interview). Various developers trading sex or money for good reviews got exposed, journalists who accepted got exposed. People became a bit more critical about supporting a game just because the developer has a victim complex stating tat their game could have only failed because of sexism, instead of their own poor developing skills. What really sealed the deal was opposition often faking their own harassment. Anita sarkeesian and Zoe Quinn have been caught multiple times screenshotting "harassment" while showing that the harrasser's account name in the login. Or when someone called the police to help Sarkeesian against a "very real threat" she was posting about, only for police to find the harasser's messages were coming from her IP address. That's what I call a proper rant. I really am beginning to feel that the whole GG thing has begun (or already has) boiling over into a much broader topic of resisting the seeming thought and agenda police that pervades this whole 3rd wave feminism thing or whatever people call it, and the people who are are sick of being misrepresented or flat out ignored in the sweeping generalizations made by the "SJWs" or even the seeming spread of this political correctness gone crazy movement. And enough dedicated people are on both sides so that this little fiasco isn't ending any time soon…

I’ve always believed in the concept of ‘Equality of Opportunity’, meaning that everyone has the same chance to pursue a career regardless of race, gender, etc.

It seems that the social justice community is more interested in ‘Equality of Outcomes’, meaning that things are not equal unless there is equal proportions of different races/genders etc. regardless of whether it makes any sense in a real world scenario.
