unorthodoxetudes+ Yet Another Sexist Video Game I got a SpotPass message on my 3DS today, so I tapped it to find out what it was about. It's an advertisement for a game called Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal. Sounds interesting enough. So I read the description. In Sonic Boom™: Shattered Crystal, Amy discovers a secret ancient language and manuscript detailing the history and whereabouts of a Lost Crystal of Power. Cool, cool. A female character in a video game who's doing things other than getting k weak characterization. d, acting solely as a love interest, or otherwise embodying The evil and vile villain, Lyric, kidnaps Amy in his eagerness to get his claws on this long-forgotten power that has been hidden throughout the jungles and canyons of a mysterious new island.
