That's the point of Hoenn – it's a region full of water, and the people loved it. IGNorant gave the originals a 9.5.

I guess too many HMs could be somewhat of an excuse because we do hate those moves, but we obviously have the move deleter to get rid of them, though I honestly wish there was a way to get rid of them at any time. It's still something, though.
