I will be completely honest, I also though his hair was white the first time I played the original. I remember a friend back in elementary who kept arguing with us saying that it was a hat, but we though he was crazy. I found out that it was actually a hat after reading through the Pokemon Adventure Manga.

I felt so stupid that I had to apologize to my friend about it, which he responded with "…Dude, that was years ago. It's not a big fucking deal."
