And He Knows That refers to a series of memes based on a quote by Love Island USA season 7 contestant Huda, spoken after asking about a date that Jeremiah, her romantic interest, went on with another contestant, Iris. Iris tells Huda that they sat on the beach, and she responds, "My dream date. Cute. And he knows that." The scene appeared in episode 13, which aired on June 16th, 2025. It became the subject of lip dub memes on TikTok over the following days, also inspiring an exploitable image macro format in which the beach date is replaced with another type of date.

On June 16th, 2025, season 7 episode 13 of Love Island USA aired.^[1] At one point in the episode, contestant Huda sits down with contestant Iris to discuss a date that Iris was made to go on with contestant Jeremiah, who Huda had been pursuing and dating as well. Iris says, "It was just like sitting down like on the beach." Huda, disappointed, says, "My dream date. Cute. And he knows that."

The scene was uploaded by TikToker^[2] @kimkardashianlover119 on June 17th, garnering over 970,000 views in two weeks.

The scene became the subject of memes over the following weeks in both a lip dub format and an image macro format.

On June 19th, 2025, TikToker^[3] @chwroeparsnips posted a video with the audio captioned, "me after I make my boyfriend tell me about his 5th grade girlfriend," garnering over 3.5 million views in 11 days.

On June 20th, Redditor u/festivelad posted several edits of the scene to the /r/LoveIslandUSA^[4] subreddit, garnering around 40 upvotes in 10 days.

On June 24th, 2025, TikToker^[5] @papathepoodle posted a meme set to the audio in which her dog responds as Huda after its owner says she "just walked around the park and enjoyed the good weather" on her date, garnering over 2.4 million views in six days.

On June 25th, X^[6] user @ayyboof posted an image macro of the meme in which Iris' quote is changed to read, "It was just like eating 7 street dogs," garnering over 19,000 likes in five days.

On June 26th, 2025, X^[7] user @amandacandee posted a similar version of the meme in which Iris' quote has been changed to read, "It was just like, 9 innings, 9 hot dogs, 9 beers," referencing baseball, garnering over 67,000 likes and 5,000 reposts in four days.

Brands and companies began using the meme over the following days to advertise their products, including the swimswamnews Instagram^[8] page, the drinkazhard (Arizona Hard) Instagram^[9] page and the FOX Sports^[10] X^[10] account.
