Every time I hear someone say Sonic Boom is worse then Sonic 06, this image pops into my mind.

And then I remember that absolutely nothing like this is in Boom.

“Sonic doesn’t die of breakdancing.”

Oh God, that was stupid. I remember all those moments where Sonic would just breakdance until the game said "Okay, I don’t know how to solve this, RESTART LEVEL! Have fun with the “Mock” Speed Sections!".

What the hell were they thinking?

I still find the story to be the worst thing about 06, and seeing how BAD the game is at almost every level besides soundtrack and the typical “ironic fun factor/laughing my ass of because of how bad it is”, that’s saying something.

As unfinished Boom is, it will never be as bad as 06. Boom is a spin-off / licensed game for a cartoon series. Sonic 06 was “THE NEW AGE OF SONIC”, “the game that would change everything”, “The dark and adult reboot that the raging fanboys want” “Omg Sonic HD” and of course it was the fucking 15th anniversary of the series.

I’m pretty sure Boom won’t be as close to kill the series or the fans’ interest like 06 was, and almost did.
