Yep.

Only games that I preorder are mainline nintendo games a la pokemon.

Why pokemon? Because i am as addicted to them as a cocaine addict is to hard crack.

I am done pre-ordering games. It's just a guarantee for the publisher that they will get my money even though the game isn't going to work until after a week of patching, or longer. It's a scam and they are the ones who benefit from it.

The only exception I make is kickstarter titles, and even there I am pretty selective about what I choose to back. If you are a big publisher you do not need my money up front. Release a game that actually works on Day 1, and maybe I'll actually consider buying it on day 1.
