The one thing I hated was how mean spirited some of the characters arc ended in the pre-reboot series. Shard was badly beaten by Metal Sonic, Antoine was in a coma, Bunnie joined her Uncle's dark egg region, Snively was throw in jail, Geoffrey got posed by his master Ixis Nagus, And Knuckles whole race (including Julie-Su and his mother) was banished to another dimension by ONE person. And when the reboot happen they just glance it over. Snively with G.U.N, Bunnie and Antoine are ok; Knuckles's people, Shard, and Geoffrey don't exist in the continuity. I know that Archie had no choice in the situation but to reboot the series.But it unfortunate to never see these characters again.
