I admit it's a bit hard for me to tell if Buck was shedding a tear because of either his dad liking the shirt and Buck realizing maybe he can be a too distant with his father, or the realization that what he did with Steven's "Guitar Dad" drawing was upsetting to Steven now that the tables were turned on him.

Either way it was a nice little episode. It's obvious it was a season 1 holdover since you could see Garnet still sporting her season 1 design.
