If you want to do things because of reasons, you might want to peek around.

Or just reading a random bit it just for fun. (Back in the Windows 98 era, I decided to read a bit of the EULA… the part I landed specified that Microsoft is not liable by damages or loss of life caused by, specifically, robotic and assembly-line equipment being controlled by Java software running on Windows 98).

Yeah yeah. I have robotic welding robot arms so accurate they can make a convincing replay of General Grievous' four-lightsabers-showoff, and the Java software to pull this demo smoothly, but it's usually running on tit-pinchingly-expensive enterprise UNIX. Since all I need is something to run Java on, I decide to cut some corners and get Windows 98. Then an operator gets laserblowtorched in half.

That happens all the time if you ask me, Microsoft.
