Smart modders will abandon the Workshop and host their mods somewhere that allows Patreon links.
Unless of course, Bethesda patches Skyrim so that only Workshop mods function on it….

No doubt, after all, there is an entire genre of mods that exist that Steam wouldn't even consider allowing on the workshop (you know what kind of mods I'm talking about), if they only allowed workshop mods, you KNOW someone would jump on undoing that ASAP.
