It’s not a glitch, dude, it’s “super armor”:http://www.ssbwiki.com/launch_resistance.

The same thing would happen with Dedede’s up-b, Yoshi’s double jump, one of Mac’s smash attacks, Ganondorf’s Reverse Warlock Punch… any move with true super armor.
