Squiqward becomes irate and decides to move back to Tentacle Acres. An upset Spongebob decides he will do everything he can to repair Squidward's clarinet, even if it kills him. Meanwhile, Sqiudward returns to Tentacle Acres only to find it in shambles. After questioning the local populous, Squidward discovers that much like Squidward has his own annoying sponge to deal with, a gang of annoying sponges tly moved into their town as we ing chaos. This makes Squidward abs y livi We get a montage of scenes where Spongebob comically tries to repair Squidward's clarinet and fails. Patrick comes in to find a weeping Spongebob crying over the wreckage of the instrument. Spongebob confides in Patrick that he is envious of Squidward's ability to create beautiful music when he can only destroy beautiful things. Patrick suggests that Spongebob should go see Sandy. Sandy tells Spongebob that the clarinet cannot be repaired. Instead, she suggests they build Squidward a new one. One that can make beautiful music even with Squidward's sour notes Later at Tentacle Acres, Squidward rallies a secret meeting of every squid in town in the wreckage of what used to be the city's town hall. Squidward stands up and gives a lengthy, 40 minute speech about the evils of sponges and the moral virtue of his new ideology. known as "Squidism." The basis of Squidward's speech is that Squids create beautiful things, sponges can only destroy. There are no "discretion shots." No leaving things to the viewer's imagination. Every bit of gory violence is shown uncensored and uncut. The mayhem is cut inbetween scenes of Spongebob and Sandy building Squidward's new clarinet. The action is portrayed as pure, beautiful and virtuous. The visual symbolism is quite obvious: the paradigms have been inverted. Squidward is now destroying as Spongebob is creating. As the violence reaches it's peak, Spongebob successfully completes the process and plays beautiful music on Squidward's cl as ied Squidward f Spongebob tr 0 ind the aftermath of the massacre.
