A report from the "NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygeine ":http://www.nyc.gov/html/doh/downloads/pdf/vs/vs-pregnancy-outcomes-2013.pdf is causing a stir after it was revealed that more black babies were born than aborted in 2013.

“Planned Parenthood is an organization with racist roots in their founder Margaret Sanger,” Hawaii State Rep. Bob McDermott told reporters. “They continue to target poor minorities – to wit, more black babies were aborted in New York City than born last year."

While white and Asian abortion rates remain near 14%, both Hispanic and black abortion rates are above the city average at 36.3% and 63.4% respectively.
