The first time, I was 12 and he was a family friend. There were a whole bunch of us in his house but I was alone playing a computer game. I didn't understand sex at the time, much less that it could happen without consent. The second time (third, fourth, etc...), I was 15 and he was an ex-boyfriend who thought I was jealous he'd moved on to my best friend. It happened to many times to count and only stopped when I got pregnant and told him. I think it scared him off. I was able to get an abortion without telling my parents, but being pregnant "at all f----- me up badly. Quit all my extracurriculars, grades dropped, no one noticed. Most recently I was 20, he was my boyfriend at the time. Whenever we'd have sex he'd do things I didn't want to do, and I'd say no, but he'd say 'it's good for you" and I'd believe him because he was more experienced. I didn't even think it was r--- until a few years later because of how he manipulated me. I'd be crying the whole time and still not think it was wrong. And on that, the statute of limitations might be open (it varies for sex crimes in my state), buti don't have the energy or funds to go through with a trial.
