Max Read's then-position as editor-in-chief combined with the use of the editorial 'we' – plus follow-up articles defending this – makes it very clear that Gawker Media is (or at least was) officially OK with these kinds of actions, and there's even a Kotaku article that just went up linking to it, so you can't use "They're different people with different opinions" as a defense. To be fair, it's not so much hypocrisy as it is Kleeman being clueless about the people she works for, but it's still an embarrassing f----up.
