When Pokemon was originally released in Japan it was known as Pocket Monsters. The very first games were Red and Green versions, and they were quite different than the versions we all played growing up. The sprites were the worst, they had some crazy glitches, and of course were known for the original lavender town theme that's always used in creepypasta.
