Are you kidding. KYM is one of the biggest sources of MatPat criticism I've seen.

Personally I think the hate's overblown. Only his flawed videos seems to get highlighted then any of his more successful videos. Not to mention the entertainment value does hold up in most of his videos. And it's fun to think about unorthodox concepts even if they fail.

I consider him a mixed bag then a complete failure. Certainly more prone to mistakes then most Youtubers, but he's not a Keemstar.

The few things I really do get annoyed of is if sometimes he presents an unorthodox concept and people immediately lose their shit because of the 'ridiculous levels' in the concept rather then the argument itself. Other times, people pick on him because of his attitude, which I see as harmless.

All in all, there's just no definitive justification for me to despise him. He's just a man with ambitious opinions that sometimes work or fail. At least the journey's fun though.
