Pixar - Pixar's 'Soul'

tbh my interest kind of plummeted once the "cutesy ghost" and ESPECIALLY the "annoying sidekick" showed up. I'd be totally down for a movie all about just music.

Kinda like Ratatouille, just about the "passion of music" rather than cooking.

Honestly I agree; I think that for the premise might work better if it were more grounded in reality than going for another fantasy-based story, especially given that Pixar already did the idea of a music-driven fantasy film with Coco. I'd be interested in seeing how Pixar could do a more realistically-written film about the urban jazz scene in an age where jazz is only really thought of among most people as a relic of the past only heard in elevators and deactivated Dish TV channels.
