After watching your episode on Advice Dog I began to wonder what other memes had been used in popular culture. I was flicking through 2000AD (A British comic) and saw a Philosoraptor reference.

Have you seen memes referenced anywhere else?

"Fail" is actually a very popular where I live. "Drinking out of cups" is a popular viral video where I live, and I showed some of my friends "extreme advertising" and now it's quickly spreading like a deadly virus.

As today's kids are expected to become more and more tech-savvy, memes are beginning to reach out beyond their original audience, due mainly to dumbass jocks and retarded (yet hot) scene girls who OmG Lik3 CelIenG c@T r S0 FuNni3!!11one!!Shift+1 Im@ p0sT diS aWn MySp@c3/F@c3bo0K lolo00lololOOOlllolloloololol

Also, screamo bands revel in cute/obscure references to internet and japanese culture, so they pretty much drown themselves in imagery that they don't quite understand.
