Things like that can make a person dive into madness. If a person is perfectly fine, feels fine, is nice, doesn't hurt anything, anyone, or themselves, they shouldn't be labeled "insane" by any organizations, and definitely not some website on the internet. You're not broken, I'm not broken, no one here is "broken", but I bet this website will definitely label everyone one of us as inane.

I did it just for fun to be honest and I thought maybe you'd like to have some fun as well, and that's why I posted it in Just For Fun.
This test will certainly not effect my life or something, and I hope it won't effect the life of someone else here…

It's not an awful free test. It's not particularly good, but measurement tools isn't a great topic.

  • Paranoid: Moderate
  • Schizoid: Moderate
  • Schizotypal: Low
  • Antisocial: Low
  • Borderline: Low
  • Histrionic: Low
  • Narcissistic: Low
  • Avoidant: Low
  • Dependent: Low
  • Obsessive-Compulsive: Low

I don't know if I'm paranoid, but I'll grant schizoid as defining me. Kinda.

People with schizoid personality disorder avoid relationships and do not show much emotion. Unlike avoidants, schizoids genuinely prefer to be alone and do not secretly wish for popularity. They tend to seek jobs that require little social contact. Their social skills are often weak and they do not show a need for attention or acceptance. They are perceived by others as humorless and distant and often are termed "loners."

Weak interpersonal skills I don't know. You tell me. I've always felt that I've been good at it.
Difficulty expressing anger, even when provoked I get angry, and I don't think anyone is confused by it.
"Loner" mentality; avoidance of social situations A whole lot of this. But that's generally because I don't like most people I come across. If I'm going to spend my free time on something, then I'm going to enjoy it. If I don't enjoy your company, then I'm not going to waste both of our time. I'm just going to not bother with you.
Appear to others as remote, aloof, and unengaged This for the reasons above. I really do miss my friends though.
Low sexual desire Simply, my libido isn't low.
Unresponsive to praise or criticism I'm more responsive to criticism than I am praise. But I can get a big head on occasion.

Not info that you wanted, I'm sure. But you have it nonetheless.

Wow that website is soooooo 1999. Made entirely out of line breaks, tables and lists. Somebody get some div elements in there!

Ahem…sorry that was my inner developer talking. Either way I find the reliability of this test to be extremely questionable. But I'll do it anyway for the lulz

Everything seems pretty normal here, except my schizotypal rating. Lets see what that's about:

  • Odd or eccentric mannerisms or appearance
  • Maybe. My hair does seem to get attention but I don't style myself for the sake of getting it. Maybe my behavior can be eccentric though. Is being a Brony eccentric?

  • Superstitious or preoccupied with paranormal phenomena
  • No.

  • Difficult to follow speech patterns
  • Yes, I do have speech difficulties.

  • Feelings of anxiety in social situations
  • No.

  • Suspiciousness and paranoia
  • No.

  • Odd beliefs or magical thinking
  • Maybe. I'm Agnostic Diest so I have some interesting philosophical viewpoints. But the only time I'll resort to magical thinking is when I'm playing as my level 45 Ice Sorceress.

  • Appears shy, aloof, or withdrawn to others
  • Maybe. I'm not shy around others but I can be withdrawn.

Overall this test gets a few things right, but then again so do starsigns by act of sheer coincidence. I'm taking this with a grain of salt. Interesting none-the-less

And hey, me and Alex have almost identical results

    I agree with this analysis.

Read OP, thought "High on Schizotypal? That doesn't seem good."

    Then I took the test.

Not actually a big surprise, unfortunately; although as others have said, you can't place too much stock in an automated online 70-question test for matters like this. A few years ago, I took a test similar to this, but it had somewhere around 700 questions, and I talked to the doctor before and after the test. The test seemed to go on forever, but did have entertaining moments:

Nobody ever talks about the positive sides of being Paranoid, you always have a plan B.

Narcissistic seems way out of the way to me. Why? I don't have any friends because I'm Schizoid to the max, and people piss me off, but I still have feelings for people, and often feel extremely if not over the top guilty for doing the most minor shit.

I can be paranoid sometimes, but I am not schizophrenic.
    "Antisocial" is only moderate. Ha.
I'm not really histronic, at least I don't think so.
…I'm not a narcissist. At all.
    I'm not really that avoidant.
No, I'm not dependent on others. F**k you, quiz.
Obsessive-Compulsive… okay, sometimes, I can be very OCD. That much I agree with.
But yeah. This test is pretty dumb.

I lol'd when I saw that Narcissistic was ranked high. I'm debating whether or not that's true.

Now the results for the Depression Test

    Major Depression: Slight-Moderate
    Dysthymia: Slight-Moderate
    Bipolar Disorder: Extremely High
    Cyclothymia: Very High
    Seasonal Affective Disorder: Slight
    Postpartum Depression: N/A

    Bipolar Disorder

Also known as manic-depressive disorder, bipolar disorder results in dramatic mood swings in the sufferer. This psychological disorder is characterized by perpetual shifts between manic and depressive phases. During the manic phase, one may feel unnaturally confident, energetic, and out of control. The depressive phase shares many symptoms with major depression.

and Cyclothymia is kinda the same. It sure is accurate though, my mood tends to swing a lot.

    From Wiki:

Histrionic personality disorder (HPD) is defined by the American Psychiatric Association as a personality disorder characterized by a pattern of excessive emotionality and attention-seeking, including an excessive need for approval and inappropriately seductive behavior, usually beginning in early adulthood. These individuals are lively, dramatic, vivacious, enthusiastic, and flirtatious.

Seems right, I like to be praised for the stuff I do, but not to the extent that it has become an obsession.

    As for the depression test:

    Disorder | Your Score

    Major Depression: Very Slight
    Dysthymia: Very Slight
    Bipolar Disorder: Very Slight
    Cyclothymia: Very Slight
