He was outstanding in his field.

Ok, so…
The flood ends and Moses tells the animals, "go forth and multiply."
The animals do so, and Moses comes back in a month to find many babies.
However, he notices a pair of small snakes without any babies.
The snakes ask him, "could you please cut down a few trees for us?" and he does.
Another month passes and Moses returns to the snakes. He finds many snake babies.
Moses asks, "How did cutting down a tree help?"
One snake responds, "We're adders, so we need logs to multiply!"
