Looking into reddit and Chanarchive the phrase shows up a few times, but there don't appear to be many images associated with it.
Google Trends shows small spike in late 2009 with a larger resurgence in 2011, though total volume is still very small.
This comic might be the origin.

I haven't heard anything about this. If it has only showed up occasionally then its probably not a meme.

There's a few examples here and there, but unless you can find more spread, I'd say hold off on it a bit.
