Anonymous Death Raids are stunts pulled off typically Anonymous or other groups. [citation needed]

The raids are simple. Anonymous begins to post videos, fake articles, and other content such as comments and messages.

Not any particular person who's death Anonymous faked, but Faking Deaths in general.

Death Hoaxes? Definitely memetic.

Yes but "goodnight sweet prince" refrences tend to be either predictions or after-the-fact occurances. Not so much the well organized death hoaxes we see here.
