Srsly though I think an interesting case can be made, as he shows up in a bunch of different forms of media.

My sense is that he's more of a Memetic Personality than a real media driven Meme : you don't have a single or group of media formats in which Deadpool plays a major role which are being mutated in such a way as to suggest memetic evolution.

Were he as popular as Epic Beard Man or in as recognizable a form as Nic Cage (as everyone) it'd be an open and shut case.

But I could be completely wrong on this one. Off to further my knowledge of Deadpool!

If you do submit it, make sure to title it "Dead pool" or "Dead-pool." If you actually call it, "Deadpool" it'll create a link to the deadpool section of memes (Believe me I know what happens if you create links like that).
