Do any of you guys have any information about this meme thing?

I know that there are many more but I have no idea what they are called so I don't know how to find them.

An example was already seen in the The Main Difference article with the top picture included in it.

What I need is some background info about the red and blue guys. There are tons more of them, examples of which depict Nihilism, Atheism, Communism, Commercialism, Martyrdom, Infinitude, etc. I need to know what they are, where they came from, and any other useful info that I might need so as to create the article. Unfortunately, I'm at a loss because of a lack of a name (which is the most important factor for research). So, if you have any info, please do say so and share said info here. Thank you.
