Carlton Banks a meme?

It's come to my attention recently that the well-known image of Carlton Banks (from Fresh Prince of Bel-Air) is quite the popular exploitable. It's just a picture of him with a slightly creepy smile, wearing a jacket and bowtie.

I'd post pics, but I'm too noob to put pictures straight into a post :P

So what do you guys think? Is it widespread and unique enough to have it's own entry?
The history will probably be pretty hard to come up with, as it looks like the image just meandered it's way into being mainstream instead of being a big hit. Then ago, I can't account for internet history.

I don't think that I am savvy enough to create my own entry, and if I did, I'd first want to get some opinion on this, since it's not super-popular, and could just easily be considered an ordinary exploitable.

btw, is there any way to turn email notification off thread responses? I've had a bad allergic reaction to replying to these threads in case my email became incurably spammed by reply notifications :)

It's a popular funny image, but is it a meme because it's popular, or is it a meme if people contort it and change it. I think I've seen Carlton on the end of Captain Jack's telescope, and I found these on the first page of devianart when I searched Carlton Banks http://urkel8534.deviantart.com/art/Carlton-Banks-Card-2-106368535

Also, on an unrelated note, I found this adorable picture of Uncle Phil
